Thanks Ted,
I had wondered if a "fruitgrower" grew strawberries, or other berry vine
fruits, as opposed to fruit trees, but as people put in their own
occupations to the electoral rolls it is likely that they just used
different terms for the same thing. I had no idea that fruit growing took
place on the Central Coast so I am really enjoying the discovery of local
occupations at this time, and especially the comments of those who remember
the orchards,
