I am after any information on David Smith he was convict, David was tried in
Suffolk, England, David arrived in Sydney on the 26 September 1819

He was transported on the john Barry (1) the ship left Portsmouth England on
the 30 April 1819. David was sent to Kiama he was a cedar getter

He was one of the first European sellers to build a house in married a Ann
Davis who was also a convict they married in 1832.



David converted the house in Kiama to the Gum Tree Inn which was licensed
1837

David died in 1883 in Kiama
