Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the Hunter Valley mailing list, topics open for
discussion are:

1. The History of the Hunter
2. The Genealogy of the families who settled here
3. New and old publications about the Hunter
4. Announcements from Hunter Valley Family History Societies
are welcome
5. Any information or dates of Historic Tours or Open Days of
historic places or homes
6. The changes taking place in the Hunter today, i.e. what are
Newcastle and Maitland City Councils doing about preserving their
past? What's happening in the historic town of Morpeth. The
changes the Honeysuckle Development Corp are making in
Newcastle.

Let's use this forum to increase our knowledge of the past history
of the Hunter as well as the future, my thoughts are that some
broader Hunter issues (such as 6) can be discussed. Your input
about this is welcomed and can be sent to the list for comments
from others.
I may manage the list, but the subscribers are the ones who make
it work!
