I am searching for information on a William Robinson, born in County Cork
Ireland, who went to Australia,
possibly settling in the Hunt River Province area, probably in the early
1800's. He had brothers John,
born 1793, Patrick and Tom, and a sister Mary (Ford) who settled in the
United States.

I don't know William's parents name, his date of birth or a wife's name.
His brother John Robinson married Lydia DeWitt in Mason Co., Virginia,
U.S.A. (April 2, 1820). I am told that at one time a family was searching
the U.S. for American relatives.

I know that this is a "long shot", but I hope that there is a connection
with someone!!
