Have you tried the NSW BDM on-line Indexes at :

http://203.111.111.137/cgi-bin/bdm?form=indexes

You may be able to 'glean' some info on your
McFADYEN line from here.

You will also find the BDM Reg. No. - so you can order
a certificate, or get a transcription done (cheaper option).

An excellent on-line resource !

Regards,
Diane
