Hi to all on the list and a Happy New Millenium to all. I don't know if
it will be much help to anyone but I have a copy of the above directory
and I will look up any queries. It has an early electoral listing and
short descriptive paragraphs on various suburbs, some with 'officials'
listed. The electoral role gives the persons name, sometimes occupation
and the name of the street they were living in at the time.
eg. Dalton John, steam tug proprietor, Scott St.

I haven't been able to find or tie in any of my ancestors but maybe it
will help somebody out there.
