Hello Jenny,

Many thanks for your reply, I'm doing this on behalf of a rellie in Sydney
who isn't on the net. I myself had very little on Thomas Burgess only that
he married my GG/GF daughter Angelina Banfield, so am hoping to find out
more and pass it on .

Thomas Burgess b1848 - 1918 buried Buttai Cem, married 21 Nov 1866 at
W.Mait to Angelina Banfield 5th child George Banfield and Ann Sullivan, she
was born 1850- 1912 buried Buttai Cem their children were -
Jeanette c 1867 - Bridget A c1868 - Margaret c1870 - John c1871 died 13 Mar
1936 buried Minmi Cem and this line is Alice Moyle's with whom I had contact
until she died in 1996 he married Mary Ann Grant - Harriet Maria c1873 -
Mary c1875-1876 - George 1876- Thomas c1878 - Hewitt 16 Apr 1880 and this
line is the lady in Sydney who is asking for the info - Angelina c1882 -
James c1886.

Son of Thomas and Angelina-
John Burgess c1871- 1936 m Mary Ann Grant b 1880 - died 28 June 1956 her
Parents were Thomas Grant and Ellen and children I have so far are-
Alice May 10 July 1900- Herbert Andrew 1913 - 24 Dec 1966, all buried Minmi
Cem.
There were more children but I don't have them as yet.

Alice May Burgess 10 July 1900 - 22 July 1996 married 1918 to James Moyle
1896-21 Nov 1974 son of John Thomas and Margaret Ann Moyle their children
were-
John Matthew 1919-1919 - Loris - John- James - Allan m Valma Jean Hawkins
then Ann Foley. I'm in contact with Allan and hope to get more info, it just
takes time to get it out of him. Allan's family is all from his 1st
marriage, 2nd wife had children of her own and I don't think they had any -
Sharon - Lyndall - Allana- Lisa- Meredith c1968

I would love any info you may have at the moment I'm collecting any Burgess
connection to try and find his history and family members. My server
recently stopped a large email attachment to me, so if your info is too
