Hi,
I'm researching the Ling family tree.
West Morley Ling, baptised at All Saints Wainfleet Lincolnshire 30.11.1807 son of Elizabeth Scrimshaw. He married Mary Markwell in the same church 30.9.1831. On the 21.1.1849 he arrived at Morton Bay on the ship 'Fortitude" with his family. Children were; Henry, Mary, George, Bartholomew, Ebenezer, Samuel, Abraham & Sarah Elizabeth. In 1851 they came to Morpeth and stayed. My gg grandfather was Ebenezer who married Ruth Henderson at Morpeth. Her parents were convicts John Henderson & Ruth Hill.
My g grandfather was George Markwell Ling who married Rebecca Stevens Gilhome at Morpeth.
I'd love any information anyone has with these names.
