Dear Tony,

This is very interesting.

I don't know what to do about Matilda BATEUP

I have found on the BDMs the following:

1. 1868 marriage of Edward BATEUP to Eliza HILDER (?is she E. Matilda?)

2. Edward and Eliza Matilda BATEUP had many children including:
Edward Albert b.1873
James Richard b. 1880
Charles A. b. 1885
Leslie G. b. 1888

3. All the above children appear to be listed on your copy of G.
Challinor's list of burials in Gunning Cemetery.

4. If this is the E. Matilda BATEUP we are looking for, I don't know what
she in doing in a grave with
D.R. BATEUP!

I would be interested in your thoughts about this.

Many thanks for those web sites. I shall check them out.

Best wishes

Sybil Cameron
