Subject: [HV] Patrick Joseph MURPHY, Blacksmith, , Goondiwindi, Maitland and Morpeth

Does anyone know of a Patrick Joseph MURPHY who was apparently a blacksmith
in Maitland somewhere between 1900-1920? He had previously lived in
Goondiwindi, Qld.

In the 1920s, Patrick moved to Morpeth, where two MURPHY sisters ran a
hotel.

I don't know when or where Patrick was born - possibly 1860s in Ireland
(maybe County Clare). I have quite a few NSW death certificates up to 1945,
but not one is his.

This Patrick appears to have had a daughter, Mary, and a granddaughter,
Pauline b 1912 (place unable to be found).

I would also like to try to trace the MURPHY sisters who ran the hotel. Any
information on this MURPHY line, or any suggestions on how to go about
searching for these people, would be greatly appreciated.
