Hi Deb,

No I am sorry, no listing for him either in the book or in the addenda.
While it is the "official" history by John Edwards, there is no telling that
all the records were captured.

I took a quick look for both Thomas E Hallam and Horace Clarkson on the
nominal roll for WW1
http://www.awm.gov.au/database/133.asp

and also on the Boer War nominal role
http://www.awm.gov.au/database/boer.asp

And could not find any listings. Perhaps for whatever reason they did not
serve overseas and so do not appear on the nominal roles.

The following listings for the Hallam surname are in the book. If they
belong to you let me know and I will give you the details.

Hallam John Henry b c 1897 of Albury father John Hallam
Hallam Stanley Bertram b c1897 of Bonshaw father S.A.B. Hallam

There was no listing for any Clarkson in the book.

I am so sorry I could not help you with this.

Isabelle

Hi,

Just wondering if you could check the book and see if there is a mention of
a Horace Clarkson, he was from around the Uralla - Armidale area. I was told
that he was in the 33rd Battalion.

Thanks in advance,
Deb
