Hi All,

I am researching the following families in the Hunter

Wallace - The family of William Wallace and Catherine Kavanagh. Known to be in the Hunter ( Maitland district) at least from 1838 to 1850. William was a whitesmith, he was married in 1838 and is listed in the Hunter River Directory 1841 (Thanks Anne!). They had the following children
1839 William
1841-1842 Henry Vine
1843-1849 Susanna (sometimes Susan) Susanna & James died within a week of each other in Apr 1849
1845-1849 James
1846 Kate
1850-1928 Joseph Wallace

I am also interested in a Charlie and Catherine Hayes. I have very little information other that they were married in 1881in Sydney and were living in or around Maitland when my Great Grandmother was born in 1888. This was Catherine's 2nd Marriage and I have not found any children from Charlie's and Catherine's marriage.
