Hi Yvonne,
Thomas is related to me by marriage, in that he was married to a McDermott
ancestress, so haven't really chased up his line. The marriage certificate
of course does not state his parent's names, although a Mary Walsh was one
of the witnesses. There is a Julia Walsh buried at Lochinvar, died 27/3/1876
aged 85yrs. The ages on my transcript may be inaccurate though - Thomas wife
(also Julia) is shown to be aged 45yrs but was actually only 25yrs at the
time of her death.

Sharon,
Do you know whether there is a connection between your Thomas WALSH and my
Catherine WALSH?
She was the daughter of Patrick WALSH and Julia ?, bc 1789 in Meath,
Ireland. She was married to Samuel CORDWELL, and died in Lochinvar in 1857.

Happy New Year everyone.
I have an ancestor named Thomas Walsh whose occupation on his marriage
certificate was innkeeper, place of residence Lochinvar. I do not know the
name of the establishment, but was hoping it may be listed in the book. This
was in the 1870's.
TIA,
Sharon
