Looks like a few of us would like to attend this talk. I wish I could be
there too, just in case a bit more family history comes out that I have not
so far gleaned. :)

What sort of information would you like to know about Effie?

William is my great, great uncle. His brother Thomas, is my great
grandfather.

direct email. Sill duffer I am :-).

Peter Madden of the Newcastle Family History Society, I would also be
interested in the talk as my GGG Uncle Isaac WINN was married to
Euphemia ARNOTT, known as "Effie" to the family. Unfortunately I
currently live in Far North Queensland, a bit far for a quick trip to
Newcastle. I also remember my G Grandmother and Grandmother talking
about "Polly" ARNOTT, who was actually the Parrot / Rosella that became
the trade mark.
