Subject: [HV] WHERE WAS DENBIE?

My ancestors Henry Deards and Mary Foster married in 1843 and the BDM site gives the location as PC - which the church codes define as the Presbyterian Church at "Denbie, Hunter District, Morpeth, Paterson, Singleton" That covers a fair area, and I wonder if any lister knows where Denbie was? The Fosters lived at Falbrook in the Glennies Creek area NW of Singleton and later at Dulwich in the same area.
The name of Deards is not that common out here, and you won't find it if you enter that spelling to find Henry's 1843 marriage: It comes out as "DEAD". Those researching the family strike another snag with the marriage of his grand-daughter Ivy at Stroud in 1911 (only since the new system came in where you enter the name of either groom or bride)
"Deards" is OK, but Ivar Deards is the groom, and Charles Saxby is the bride! An early instance of cross-gendering?
I'd appreciate any info on where Denbie is or was,
Ray
