Hello,
I am new to the list. I have just discovered my great uncle's family in Maitland from about 1885 to ?.

Andrew ROULSTON was born in 1858 in St. Johnston, Donegal, Ireland, and came to Australia after his marriage to Margaret Elizabeth Parke in Donegal in 1883. They had five children born in NSW who lived to adulthood, Robert A. Roulston, Margaret C. Roulston, Andrew J. Roulston, Joseph D. P. Roulston, and William G. Roulston. Andrew worked at the prison in Maitland as a warder and died in Maitland in 1931. His address was 90 Victoria Street, East Maitland.

I am hoping to locate the families of his children in order to find Andrew (b. 1858)'s sister, Margerie (Margaret Anne) Roulston Colhoun, who died somewhere in Australia but I can't find out when or where.

I was wondering if anyone knew if there were employee records that could be accessed since Andrew worked at the prison.
