Hello Marg and Listers,

Could someone with local knowledge shed some light on the owner and
whereabouts of a property or area which was known as PEMBROKE, CASSILIS during the
early 1840 period?

My 2x gt grandparents, Peter and Elizabeth BLAIR, according to the Pre 1856
BDM, had children baptised between 1841 - 1845 by Bishop Broughton, their
address given as above.

I am perplexed - the Baptisms appear to have taken place in the Maitland
area, which would be rather a long trip from Cassilis for the family or
alternatively for Bishop Broughton to have made the journey to Cassilis to conduct
Baptisms .

Looking for ideas please,
