Howdy,
Interested to hear from anyone who may know a little about the Spinks
Family.
My uncle, Norman Leslie O'Brien (known as Sandy), the son of James and Lena
from South Lismore, married Florrie (Florence) Spinks in 1934.
To quote his newspaper obituary (1935), when he arrived in Lismore, he
"lived with Mr and Mrs R. Spinks first at Dunoon road, and latterly at 23
Tweed Street, North Lismore. He married Miss Florrie Spinks". They had only
one child before he was killed in a quarry accident at Cawongla.
If you have any info about Flo, the family and any descendants who are still
alive and researching, it would be great to hear from you.
Cheers,
James O'Brien
