Hello Graham,
I am glad the cemetery links were of some help to you and to other listers.
You asked whether or not the name of 'Dot' could also be 'Doris'? There is
a strong possibility that they are two of the same. In the AFTC magazine
(Australian Family Tree Connections), August 2005 issue, page 38-39, there
is a list of first name variations. Some you will be quite surprised with,
while others are really what we use in our everyday life.
If you do not subscribe to the magazine, it is usually readily available
through the local libraries or I can send you a scanned copy.
Hope this helps.
Regards...Yvonne

Hi Yvonne,
Thanks for those links. There were quiet a few rellies in the Bellingen
list. The entry in the Fernmount list for Prosper Cheers is a mystery one
(only 11 months old). Got excited for a while as I thought he was the
brother to Frederick Cheers - my GG G/father. But realised the age and dates
were all wrong. Ah well, another one to solve. Does not end does it.
On the Bellingen list there is a Doris Clifford who is burried besides a
Claude Clifford at Urunga. I think these are mine, but not sure how thet
fit in yet.
Would Doris also be known as Dot? I had a uncle and aunt Claude and Dot. Got
a feeling that her maiden surname was Graham. Yet another mystery.
Have a great Aussie Day.
Catch ya soon.
Grahame.
