I am a newcomer to this list and would like to post my family interest.
William and Rebecca ELLIOTT (nee MOFFITT) arrived in Lismore from Gerringong
on 26/7/1882 bringing their family of 7 sons and 3 daughters;

John (Born 1857)
Mary (Born 1859, later MACKIE)
Mary Jane (Born 1861, later RISHWORTH)
William (Born 1862)
David (Born 1863)
Henry (Born 1866)
Thomas (Born 1868)
Irvine (Born 1870)
Elizabeth Ann (Born 1872, later RISHWORTH)
George James (Born 1873)

The family took up 200 acres near Clunes. They called the property
"Makney Hill" after Rebecca's birthplace in Mackenny, County Tyrone,
Ireland. All ten children later settled on the North Coast at Corndale,
Bexhill, Rosebank, Lismore, Alstonville, Tregeagle and Bangalow. Associated
families are; MACKIE, RISHWORTH, COOKE, McCOLLUM, MARTIN, NORTHAM, MAYNES
and SCOTT.

I would like to hear from descendants of my g-g-grandparents, William
and Rebecca Elliott and to exchange family history.
