Have just discovered this wonder north coast site.
My connection is GGGrandparents James and Mary Jane Boyce, who wandered
north friom the Hunter Valley (Mulbring area) about 1870 with Whites,
Camerons and McLeays. Who came first isnt clear, but BDM information
indicates this was the era of them arriving, and family legend says the
Boyces and Whites went north together

James and Mary Jane settled firstly at Alumny Creek.
Their children married ....
Eliza m William Thomas White 1860 at E Maitland
James m Anne Blake 1873 at Walcha
Sarah m William Ross McLeay 1869 at West Maitland
Mary m Robert McLeay 1871 at Grafton
Alice m Duncan Cameron 1871 at Grafton
Martha m Arthur Byrnes 1875 at Grafton

Love to hear from any decendants of these pioneers.
James and Annie are my GGgrandparents.
