Hi List,

after a few setbacks, the Ballina/Richmond River GenWeb is on its way. Within the next couple of weeks I will be providing you with the URL for this new site, so that you can access the wonderful resource. At the moment, you could only view the index page.

For now, I am requesting information on families from the Ballina/Richmond River area to place in the surnames section. I am producing some information on as many families as I can, with hope that researchers will supplement the data.

The project is a joint one, between Mandy O'Neill & myself. We have produced the skeleton of the site & are trying to complement it with as much information as we can. Of course, the willingness of others to submit information to the site will determine its effectiveness. We have infomration on the following areas: Surnames, Settlements, Schools, Timber Licenses, Greville's P.O Directory, Cemeteries, Obituaries, Queries, Photo's, Stories, Lookups, Publications & Links.
