Hi Sandra & Jan,
Sandra... my husband's Great Grandfather was a boxer....John RODGER married
Theresa Mary THEARLE in Ballina 1895. They lived in Casino and surrounding
districts.
I'll ask a few more questions of the senior members in the Rodgers family
and get back to you.
Jan...we chatted back in August 2001, but I don't think we ever resolved
who 'George Rodgers' belonged to.
John & Theresa only had 10 children that I know of, and that didn't include
a 'George'.
Frank Gibson RODGERS who married Iris Pearl GREY in Casino 1934, is John &
Theresa Rodgers 6th child.
Have you been able to find out who George Rodgers' parents were since we
last chatted?
Kind regards,
Sherrie.
Sydney.

John GRAY was one of the first blacksmiths in Casino. He was followed into
the business by his sons
