Hi,

I'm trying to trace any living relatives of John McGibbon and Pauline Mitta
McGibbon (nee Clancy), in order to find out about the life of her brother
Reginald John Clancy (see below). Reginald John Clancy is my wife's
grandfather. John McGibbon and Pauline Clancy were married in the Bellingen
district in 1928 (see below). Pauline was born in Mitta Mitta (Vic) on the
9th of January in 1903. She lived at Eastwood in Sydney and died in 1989.
Her parents were John Clancy and Jane Clancy (nee Giddins). This particular
Clancy family moved to Dorrigo in 1906. Pauline's father, John Clancy died
at Dorrigo in 1936. Pauline's mother, Jane Clancy died at Birmingham Gardens
in 1968. Reginald John Clancy was born in 1904 in Booligal, and died at
Rankin Park Hospital in Stockton (near Newcastle) in 1984. He worked for a
time (in the 1930's) in the New Hebrides (now Vanuatu) for a missionary,
trader, planter called Mr Fleming, mainly on the islands of Malekula and
Pakea. This is where he met my wife's mum (Dorothy Ernestine Whitford). I
have 2 photos of Reginald John Clancy - 1 with Margaret Corlette-Theuil,
taken in the New Hebrides in 1930, and another of Reginald on a ship in the
New Hebrides in June 1935. I can't make out the name of the ship (It's
something like Macadia or Macabee).
