Is there anyone researching these families from the Nambucca region? I have
interest in James Goodwin and Margaret nee McDermott, who relocated with
their first three children from the Illawarra, firstly to the Macleay area
and then to the Nambucca area. They had 12 children altogether and I'm
descended from their youngest daughter. I don't know much about James
Goodwin at all, except that he was working as a farmer in Bowraville in 1872
according to Grevilled PO directory. If anyone has any information on where
he was born and parents/siblings, I'd be most interested.
