My Geatgrandfather died in Fernmount in 1881. He married Mary Anne Wood in Kempsey in 1870. They had various children and my grandfather Ernest was one. On marriage docs. his father was William and mother Maria Whitmore on death docs his father was Antonio and mother Marion.
He was born in Genoa, Italy but there are rumors that his name was Perozzi he also shared a block of land in Bellingen with a Mr. Lamont. I have found no records of his arrival (death docs say he was in Aust 15 years before death) and not naturalisation records. I have placed this ? before so I do apologise.
