Hi all,

Just some background on the problem with Narelle's email so that we can let
this topic go now.

Narelle apparently set an auto reponse on her old email. The way the list is
set up, every time the list sent an email to that address the auto response
was sent advising of the change in email address. This kept happening
because Narelle didn't unsubscribe her old address from the list before
setting up the auto reponse from her old address.

I am not sure whether Narelle had no further access to her old address, but
for whatever reason she was unable to unsubscribe her old address, so the
auto response was generated every time anybody sent a posting to the list.

What we have learnt from this is:
1. Please unsubscribe your old address before subscribing your new address.
2. Auto responses can be a real pain for mailing lists
3. Maybe I should change the reply to address to be the poster rather than
the list, but this means you don't get to follow the discussion on how to
research particular items as the responses to the request for help all
become "off list"
4. The admin is not always able to check the emails every day and so it can
be a week before a problem with the list is noted, so patience with one
another and courtesy even in the face of frustration is required of us all.
