COBBORA - a small township in the police district of Dubbo, electoral district of The Bogan, county of Lincoln, is 196 miles west from Sydney. Route: Rail to Wallerawang, coach to Mudgee, thence 40 miles. Office: Post only. Mails close at G.P.O. on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 4 p.m., arriving in post town on Fridays and Mondays at 2.30 a.m.; leave for Sydney on Saturdays and Wednesdays at 4 p.m., arriving Mondays and Fridays at 7.20 a.m. Pastoral and agricultural.
