I am searching for information on John Campbell (c.1847-1931) and his wife
Mary Georgina McIntyre (1851-1901). This family originally came from the New
England region, around Inverell.
The first record that I have of them in the Pilliga is the death of their 6
year old daughter Flora Jessie Campbell at "Bullerawa", Wee Waa in 1888.
Flora died from extensive burns, but no idea how she came to be burned.
The couple had 11 children in total:
Charles (1871-1933)
Archibald (1872-???)
Catherine (1874-????)
John William (1876-1895) (died at Narrabri)
Robert Bruce (1878)
Allen Walter (1880)
Flora Jessie (1882-1888)(died at "Bullerawa", Wee Waa)
Colin Loudin (1885-????)
Christina Eglantine (1887-1969) (Born at "Bullerawa", Wee Waa)
Alpin Hector (1890) (Born at Narrabri)
Byron A (1892) (Born at Narrabri)
These children also had cousins with the names McGregor, McIntyre and
Bridge, some of whom may have also lived in the area.
