Hi Wal & Ron,
I have just purchased a book called:
HADDON RIG "The First 100 Years"
Our Grandmother and one of her brothers were born
on Haddon Rig Station at Warren during the late 1880
and I thought it may have some info on our family.
It is very interesting and I have not finished reading it, but I do recall
seeing the name Tighe, it may not be your man, but when I get a chance I
will have a good look.
Haddon Rig Station near Warren employed many staff including sheep shearers,
farm hands, labourers, house staff etc and many of the shearers were
provided with family accommodation. Births are NOT listed but the book does
list SOME information on the following:
Land Owners
Local Families
Local Businesses
Station/Property names
History
Maps
Regards
Colleen
