Di
That rings true of what I have been told. Certainly you need to do
your own research which means that it is essential for microfilms t
be available. One clergyman recited about privacy being the reason of
no microfilms. Well in the UK all Anglican Registers are available at
the Record Offices as well as via the LDS. The Privacy card has been
over played with respect to Census Data here in Australia 100 year
embargo prevents any real invasion of privacy. Perhaps those who
advocate privacy might like to see about our telephone books isn't
this valid as an invasion of privacy??
Yes! Mudgee RC records are now held at the Bathurst
Chancery Office. but I am unsure whether you can do your own research.
Best regards
Rod
