Hi to everyone,
Thank you all for reading this e-mail. I am seeking information regarding my relatives
that came out from England in 1877 and 1879. They were William Robert Dodd
who arrived in Sydney on the "Samuel Plimsoll" in 1877 (on the records it was
Robert Dodd), his brother Thomas H. Dodd arrived in 1879 on the "Clyde".
According to the shipping records for W.R. Dodd he came to his uncle, his name
is W. Sanders (could very well be Saunders) of Goulburn. N.S.W. Thomas H. Dodd
came later (1879) to his brother W.R. Dodd - who was with his uncle in Goulburn.
Can anyone please let me know, what to look up or where I can get any information
on these people, above. I would like to know how long they were in the area for,
and how much earlier the uncle had been there, what they did in Goulburn, where
they lived etc., etc.
I know that I am asking a lot but, if anyone at all could just give me a web site, or
any e-mail addresses, or even a book that I could purchase, or even a fische to
look up, I can do it my self.
As I live in Brisbane QLD., I cannot get to Goulburn myself to look at a lot of these
things. If I could I would certainly do it.
I would appreciate anything whatsoever.
Thanking you all so much.
Regards,
Mrs Gaye Stephenson.
