You have confirmed what I expected. However, at the time of the birth
the name Marulan was in use. For example, the girl's father managed the
saw mill at Sutton Forest and advertised that timber could be supplied
to the Marulan railway station. I suspect that Moorroowoolen was the
name of a property in the district, close to Marulan or nearer to
Goulburn wher the birth was registered. I think earlier births were
registered at Berrima.
The LPI web site is a good one. Have bookmarked it for future reference
both for work and for pleasure genealogy.

This is the original spelling of an aboriginal word. It is shown on
old
parish maps of the area.
It became shortened to Marulan.
A town about 10 km south of Wollondilly River and about 26 km W by S
of
Goulburn. Boundaries within the Mulwaree Council area
