Hi everyone,
Many thanks to Marg, Ray, Penny and Bill in regards to my
SCANTLEBURY query. Eliza was Frederick's former wife,
then he married 'my' Margaret, and when she died he married
another lady ! Three wives in less than five years, he must
have been a busy man :) ... or else it was a conspiracy theory !
I was somewhat hoping that Margaret (and her child to Frederick)
may have had a headstone (Eliza did ... not fair !!) so it would give
me an excuse to drive on down from Sydney to take some photos.
Darn !
I wonder if the 'location' of the grave would be recorded anywhere?
And Bill .... if I ever get to Araluen, I won't try the beer ;)
Thanks again everyone for your assistance,
Cheers,
Diane
