Hello Larraine.
Have you tried alternative spellings in your searches, just in case there is
a transcription error. For example: GORLAND or GERLAND or GARHAND etc.
If you have access to a library which holds the microfiche copies of the
BD&M index, by quickly looking down some of those you might see alternative
spellings jump out at you which could be the one you are after.
