I have an old birthday book that belonged to my great aunt Amy Clarice White
of "St Elmo", Station Street, Berry.

It is a small book, a little like an autograph book and contains the names,
signatures and birthdates of her friends and relatives.

The book is interspersed with passages of poetry of Mrs Felicia Hemans (who
wrote Casabianca - "The boy stood on the burning deck...")

Clarice was born in Kangaroo Valley in 1917 and grew up in Berry. She passed
away in 1979.
