Wedding Bells
A quiet wedding was celebrated at Alma Cottage, Cambewarra, the residence of the bride's father, by the Rev. W. Newby-Fraser, on Wednesday, January 3rd, when Miss Margaret, eldest daughter of Mr. Thomas Auliff, was married to Mr. Henry C. Harris,youngest son of Mr. J. G. Harris, of Marshall Mount. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked very pretty in a costume of white Persian lawn, trimmed with valenciennes lace and insertion, also the customary wreath and veil. She wore a beautiful gold pendant and chain, gifts of the bridegroom. The bride's present to the groom was a gold horse-shoe pin.The bridesmaid in attendance was Miss E. Auliff, sister of the bride, attired in white muslin, trimmed with lace and insertion,and wore a gold brooch, gift of the bridegroom. Mr. E. G. Host acted as best man. At the conclusion of the ceremony the guests repaired to the dining room, where the wedding breakfast was served. The happy couple left for Sydney in the mid-day tra!
