HI There,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with my mystery about the above family.

I have 2 Rush families.
Bart Rush who was married 1st to Ann Bennett, 2nd wife Sarah Riley, and the 3rd Harriett Wastall.
Bart Rush was the son of Michael Rush from the "Almorah" and Sarah who came free.Bart was living at Willow Vale, Nattai in 1877.

2nd family: Philip Rush who married Jemima Blackman. After 1865 Jemima Blackman went to work for Bartholomew Rush as a governess. In 1877 Jemima married Philip.
Philip is the son of Michael Rush (not on the Almorah) and Mary O'Reilly/Reily.

I have contacted the local newspapers in the area for Jemima wedding in hope there was something to say that these 2 families were the same one but no such luck, The only piece of evidence I have to say they are the same family is from the book Jemima - written by Jemima's granddaughter. In this book she says how she met Philip, via his brother Bart.

I live in Tamworth so cant access your local libraries. Can someone please give me some clues as to how to prove or disprove this connection.
