Thanks Neville and Julia,

I live in Hobart so am not even sure of the layout of Woonona to Wollongong
to Bulli, etc. My mothers birth was registered at Bulli.

Have transcript for my parents marriage now. She was Gwenda Elsie Chopping
married Lawrence Frederick Michell. Rona is her older sister and I am in
contact with Rona's grand daughter, who is also researching the family and
that is how I found her about three years ago. We are both stuck on this
part of the family. I rack my brains trying to remember stuff that I was
told when I was small

Have just applied for Job Chopping's transcript, so am hoping that helps.
Have linked in with some other trees that may be correct but need
corroboration at this stage.

Would be great if you could check on Woonona graves but am not sure if there
is a listing for you to find them or what.

Thomas D was less than 1 year old I figure and Doris slightly more.

I have only just started tracking that branch and what makes it worse is
that I don't have contact with my mother, Percy's daughter, Gwenda because
she is in the Exclusive Brethren and hasn't really spoken to me for 34
years. She is now 89 but still alive and I went up to see her in Orange
briefly but didn't find out anything. Have photos of graves of Percy and
Lilian (who was Lilian Elsie Muriel Leatheam of Nowra, daughter of Elizabeth
and Stephen Henry Leatheam and brother to John Athol Henry Leatheam, who was
mayor of Nowra at one stage) My mother and our family lost contact with her
cousins because of the church.

She used to be very friendly with her cousin Grace, who had children
Jeffrey( probably born in 1952 as I have a photo of him with me on a blanket
when we were babies) and a Janet again another photo ( she looks a couple of
years younger.. I think their surname was Morris. Have just found an Amy
Grace on BDM who married Alan George Morris 11849/1950
Alan George died in Wollongong 26057/1965 (parents William James and Mary
Olive)

Think Grace's older sister was Ruth ( found a Ruth Alice, who married Edwin
John Smith in Sydney 18994/19450) Found back of a photo with her children
were Lyn and Evan

There was also a Davey ( found William Davey married Mildred Daisy Hutton in
Sydney 20049/1943) His children Beth and Ian

Thanks again

Bev

Hi there,

I live close to Bulli cemetery so if there are any graves you would like
me to check there please contact me and I would be happy to do so. This
would be relevant for your Woonona deaths

Kind regards,

Julia
