I posted a message last month about a New surname for the Hornery/Honnery
Family I was following up. At that stage I did not have much to go on. I now
know more and so thought I might post again to see if anyone can make a
connection

George Henry ROSE's parents were George ROSE and Julia Ann PALMER. I have
George Henry's death cert, which states he was 45 years old when he died at
Tulloona Station which is near Moree. With the parents given, I can see only
one possibility in the NSW BDM's. It states he was Catholic.

* Possible Birth Record - needs to be confirmed yet. Based on the age given
at death and the parents names

George and Elizabeth Barr/Maskell/Groves had 3 children registered to them
as their own (all in QLD). Alice Maud ROSE (1887); John Thomas ROSE (1889);
Neil Shaw ROSE (1892), but all of Elizabeth's children to Alexander Groves
used the surname ROSE and believed George Henry was their father.

This family seemed to live in the Warialda/Moree area, and obviously went
over the border to Qld between 1887 and 1892, but were back in NSW at the
end of 1892 when George Henry died. There is a place now called Tulloona,
which is between Warialda and Moree, but more North and close to the NSW/QLD
border, I am not sure if this is where Tulloona Station was in 1893. ROSE
descendants of George Henry are today still living in Goondiwindi.

Any help or advice would be most appreciated.
