Hi Wendy

Can you tell me what the BENNETT's first name was.

So far no match, my earliest MARCHANT IS
James Marchant born 1831/1832 London, England and died 1906 in Lillimur, Vic
he married Margaret Forrest in 1856.
They had 8 children and from here this is where the MARCHANT line goes.

Funnily enough the Forrest family then married into the BENNETT Family.

JAMES Line (there are 2)

Rita JAMES married Cecil BENNETT 1926
Elfreda JAMES married Edmund BENNETT 1904.

I have not researched any further into the JAMES line as I have been
concentrating on my BENNETT.

FYI - My BENNETT line comes from Scotland.
