No ........ the last NSW census to survive more
or less intact was done in 1828 . I understand
that was more by accident than design

Name indexes for the 1841 for the Sydney area and
name indexes of most of the 1891 and 1901 for NSW
again survived by accident . All other census docs
have always been pulped after the statistic were
taken . This is why censuses are done anyway .

You may recall that the last question in our most
recent census asked your permission to keep that
record for 100 yrs ? .

There are PO Directories but unsure if Catherine
