Here's another one on Peculiar People,

Mystery of the Sausage-slinger.
A nightly prowler has long mystified the town of Davonport by
hurling
packets of sausages into gardens late at night.
The only clue the residents have is thet he always uses the
Co-op's best bangers and usually lobs a full packet of eight still wrapped
in plastic.
Hmm?
