HI all,
Agreed - but some changes have occurred. Long, long ago before the
road bridge across the Hawkesbury my parents used to pack us in the
car with the camping gear and head off to Tuggerah for the Easter
holidays. We left Eastwood before daylight and joined the queue of
parked cars before too long, then edged our way towards the river by
whatever number of cars got on the ferry, waited until it crossed and
returned, then moved on another short distance etc etc etc. It is one
of my childhood "nightmares".
Obviously the return was no better!
