Hello all

Further to my previous email, would anyone have any info on this son of Charles and Elizabeth Ann HUMPHREYS:

William Thomas HUMPHREYS b ENG 1873, emigrated to Aust (Melb) 1876/77, resided initially in the Wentworth NSW area.
He is listed on his son's birth cert in 1898 as being a "fruiterer" in the Wentworth area. When his daughter was born in 1900 in Pooncairie, William is listed as being a "cordial manufacturer". The next child was born in 1902 in Mildura.

William married Dinah Jane HIPPISLEY in 1898 in Adelaide. She died at Mildura from the flu pandemic in 1919. Apparently the hospital was so full, that she was placed with many others in tents in the grounds.

Any info much appreciated.
