Hi
Would some kind person be able to tell me why sometimes on Roman Catholic
baptisms, in place of the father's christian name there is the word "Gululius"
or "Gululus". The word appears for two separate fathers on a baptism sheet I
received from Bathurst some time back. One father's name was Samuel and the
other William. I have asked librarians at different times but they have no idea
either.
Thanks
Dianne
