Sorry I can't help you with your search - but good luck. However I thought
you might like to contact Peter Forrest (a historian of the NT) - he may
have come across the family name. I guess anything is worth a try.
I left the NT 5 years ago when Peter (& wife Sheila) used to write for the
NT News - for the NT history section each Tuesday.
White Pages have his contact details as "Historians & Writers 54 Eden St
