Hi Janice Alan and everyone

I have three of his books. I enjoyed them and got a lot out of them. He was a school
teacher and was able to hear all sides of a communities stories. He generally wrote
about the town/locality he was posted to.

Some people I spoke with in Bega remember him and told of how he could get all the
stories as he was objective because of his position in the town.

The prices on this site seem a bit steep though, I paid around $20 for each of the
Kiama Illawarra books at a second hand shop in Bowral.

You might want to search the net for the titles you are looking for in quotation marks -
see if you find a better priced source.
