During this quiet time I take this opportunity to repost some of my
ancestry on which I have little information ...

FEIMSI BAAN and SAMUEL WARD were listed on the Roman Catholic Sofala Records
as the parents of SARAH WARD born January 1855 at Tambaroora near Hill End
NSW. Who were they, where did they come from ... the never ending question,
the answers to which continue to elude me. Sarah had a brother named
MICK LAWLER.

WILLIAM DUCKWORTH No. 35-93-98 and RICHARD HAYHURST No 35-96-102 both
sentenced in 1834 ...related to the HINDLES who were also PJ Convicts ...
arrived on the HENRY PORCHER 2 January 1835.
WILLIAM DUCKWORTH was born to BETTY DUCKWORTH on 19.9.1815 at Blackburn
Lancashire England. Betty married RICHARD HAYHURST in Blackburn on
20.1.1816.
RICHARD received ticket of leave no. 30/336. I have no further information
on his life after arrival, and whether he died here or returned to
England. I have been told that WILLIAM DUCKWORTH was assigned to RICHARD
JONES
at Bolwarra in 1837. WILLIAM obtained ticket of leave NO. 43/335 in the
district o
Maitland NSW and married MARY SPENCER at the Church of England Bolwarra West
Maitland NSW 29 July 1843.

ROBERT McCORMACK born Queens county or Killarny Ireland approx 1842 estimate
only.
Married 22 April 1878 at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church Orange NSW to
ELIZABETH DUCKWORTH /Robertson/ Forristal. ROBERT refused to tell his
children
any information of his life previous to this marriage, except that he
arrived in Australia when young and had spent some time in Victoria.
