Subject: [PJ] JOHN DAVIES/DAVIS

Hi there
I'm still looking for my husband's GGGG Grandparents, convicts WILLIAM DAVIS
(Scarborough 1790) and his wife JANE REID (possibly Lady Juliana 1790) but
have come across another researcher's work which states that William had a
brother here called JOHN DAVIS/DAVIES who may also have been a convict
(there are lots of them in the convict listings!). All I have about JOHN is
his Inquest of 10 October 1814 held in Sydney. His wife is named as Mary. I
asked a while ago about the term used in the inquest of - 'Private Veteran'
and I've had some very useful advice from listers regarding that, but now
wonder if anyone else on the list is researching JOHN? If so I'd love to
hear from you.
Kindest Regards
